The first thing that comes to your mind when starting up this game is ‘Tetris!’ the second is probably ‘help!’, and the third: ‘how the hell can I survive this?’. Rest assured, surviving is possible, and after a few tries hardly as difficult as it may seem.

Although it looks like your trapped in a level of Tetris, skills of that game will not help you much. The gameplay of The Blocks Cometh is more akin to Mario, or Mega Man, because besides (double) jumping, you can also shoot. The goal of the game is more like Tetris again, because you have to let the blocks pile up as high as possible, without having them crash you. Don’t be too afraid of getting trapped, you can always blast your way out, and it’s nice and safe to have a temporary roof above your head.
