Every now and then we stumble upon games that do not necessarily fit the definition of a game. But we don’t mind, as long as they’re fun. Small Worlds offers a gameplay experience that is not centered around scoring points or finishing levels.There is no clear goal, other than the wonderful experience of exploring the surroundings.

Playing Small Worlds feels like you’re trapped in a painting, and that’s really not a bad thing. Wandering around in a world of pixel-art, that is slowly but certainly being uncovered by your actions proves to be highly entertaining. The basic controls of walking and jumping take no time at all to get used to, leaving you all the time to listen to the nice tunes and enjoy the exploration.
