If you want to relive the times of black powder warfare, it’s your lucky day! In Master of Fortresses you can play as the English, Prussians or French and must build fortresses to withstand wave after wave of enemy attacks.

Master of Fortresses has lots of similarities with tower defense games. Building and unit placement is critical, and surviving enemy attacks means money earned to invest in better defense. There are some differences too however, and they’re very refreshing. Unlike tower defense games, the enemy does not walk in line, and they don’t exit the map before they are dead. Unless you’re the one dying of course. This means that the battles are much more concentrated around your fortress, usually resulting in massive onslaughts. And that’s just the way we like our black powder warfare!
